Hamsa Protective Eye Earrings

These captivating 3 1/2" beaded earrings are in a Hamsa symbol design that is believed by many religions to be a protective symbol against harm, attracting good fortune, health and happiness. They were hand-crafted in Chiapas, Mexico.

A little about us: After traveling through Central America, we fell completely in love with the clothing, weavings, bead making and craftsmanship that can be found throughout the Maya people of Mexico and Guatemala. However, most Maya communities are living in abject poverty and work tirelessly for next to nothing. Wanting to bring these amazing wears to other parts of the world, along with helping the Maya community to gain recognition and abundance, we decided to start this company. So, along with the initial purchase of the product that funds the artisans, 11% of each purchase made through our shop will go directly to a charity that supports the Maya community with education, improved living conditions, financial assistance and personal health.
