Hola Familia! I’m Caleb Auston. I’ve been driven by a passion for capturing the world through photography, creating music, and finding communities where I can make a real impact. During the global pandemic, an unexpected job opportunity led me to the jungles of Lake Atitlán, Guatemala. There, surrounded by breathtaking nature and the vibrant spirit of the Kaqchikel and Tz’utujil Mayan tribes, I was deeply moved by the strength and joy of these communities. Despite the challenges of living in a third-world country, these people remained connected to their land and culture in ways that inspired me.

Captivated by the incredible clothing, jewelry, and crafts of the Maya community, I decided to explore more indigenous tribes in Chiapas, Mexico. It was during this journey that I realized my calling: to start a business that would bring the unique apparel of these amazing cultures to the world, while creating awareness, economic opportunity, and support for indigenous communities globally. And so, Earth Tribe Apparel was born from my belief that every artist deserves recognition and fair compensation for their work, that we must preserve these traditions of sustainable, hand-made wears and that we are all part of one global family. One World. One People.
